Have you recently changed your email address or moved to a new email provider? Don’t worry! You can update your account email address fairly easily.
Change your email address:
- Log in to UploadMe and go to your settings page.
- Under account settings, scroll down until you come to your email address – type your new email address into the Email field.
Note: An email address can only be associated with one UploadMe account at a time.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page
- A dialog box will appear with “Changes have been saved.”
- Check your emails to confirm your new email address (why?)
Your email address is not displayed in your public profile on UploadMe and can only be seen by you. More information about this setting can be found here.
To confirm your email address change (this is required):
- Log in to the email account for the address you just updated
- You should see a new email from UploadMe. (Search for mail from “UploadMe” if you cannot find it.)
- Click on the confirmation link in that email
- You should then be directed to your UploadMe account. Your change is now complete! :)
You can also resend the confirmation email from your UploadMe account at any time by clicking the yellow link on your homepage.
If you do not complete the confirmation process above, your email will not be changed. It is important you know what email address is associated with your account at all times.
