For users uploading images directly to UploadMe, the following file size limits apply:
- Signed-in Users: The maximum file size for AVIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WEBP, MOV, MP4 and WEBM files is 64 MB.
- Guest Users: If you’re not signed in, the maximum file size for your files is limited to 32 MB.
- Avatars: The maximum file size for avatars (profile pictures) is 15 MB.
- Cover Photos (Profile Backgrounds): Similarly, the maximum file size for cover photos is 15 MB.
As higher-resolution images, such as 8K, become more common, we may increase these limits in the future to better accommodate larger files.
Starting from Friday, 24 April 2026 we now allow .AVIF, .WEBM, .MOV and .MP4 files
Starting from Sunday, 20 July 2025, we updated our maximum file size limits. Guests can now upload 32MB (up from 10MB) in size and logged in users can now upload files up to 64 MB (up from 20MB) in size.
